This cake gave me some new challenges. I haven't had the opportunity to carve many cakes before, so attemping the leaning or topsy turvy look was a new experience. My first attempt at this cake failed miserably and fell into pieces! HA! Thankfully I achieved the look I was going for on my second attempt.
This a high school graduation cake. She didn't want it to look like a traditional graduation cake, but wanted the high schools colors represented (purple) and also asked for some "funky flowers".
